Application Requirements

In order to be considered for this residency, the applicant must:

1. Possess a strong interest in clinical pharmacy practice
2. Be a U.S. citizen or a permanent resident
3. Be enrolled in or complete an ACPE-accredited PharmD degree program
4. Participate in the ASHP Resident Matching Program

Once accepted into the residency program, candidates should submit a completed University Health Job Application by May 1 and obtain a Registered Pharmacist License in the state of Texas by August 1.

The applicant must submit the following application materials via the Pharmacy Online Residency Centralized Application Service (PhORCAS) at https://portal.phorcas.org:

1. Letter of interest/intent
2. Current curriculum vitae
3. Three professional letters of recommendation (via standard PhORCAS reference form)
4. Official college of pharmacy transcripts
