New CEOs tapped to lead 1.4B multi-hospital expansion
San Antonio Business Journal (Subscription required) - University Health has taken an important step in the development of its planned new hospitals in South San Antonio and Selma, securing experienced chief executives who will oversee the acute hospitals and their campuses. Christopher Mendoza will serve as CEO of University Health Palo Alto Hospital on the South Side and Jeremy Riney will serve as CEO of University Health Retama Hospital on the Northeast Side. -

University Health begins construction on first milk bank in South Texas
Construction has begun on University Health's Milk Bank, which will be the first milk bank in South Texas when it opens in 2027. The pasteurized donor breast milk will support infant nutrition and be especially important for babies in the neonatal intensive care unit, or NICU.
