University Community Care Plan (UCCP)

University Community Care Plan is a health insurance plan available to existing CareLink members who qualify for coverage under the Affordable Care Act. It is managed by Community First Health Plans, a member of the University Health family. UCCP offers expanded health benefits and coverage in addition to the services you currently receive through CareLink.

CareLink Wellness Warriors

CareLink hosts walking groups for members who wish to earn a $15 credit toward their account balance while engaging in physical activity and working toward a healthy lifestyle. FitLink is a fitness program for CareLink members at the Fitness Center at Texas Diabetes Institute. Earn monthly credits toward your CareLink balance when you participate in FitLink. For details, please contact the Fitness Center at 210-358-7206. Note: A referral from your primary care provider is required, so please request an ambulatory referral for Texas Diabetes Institute exercise.
