San Antonio Post-COVID Recovery
At University Health’s Post-COVID Recovery Clinic, we provide a broad spectrum of care for people who were diagnosed with COVID-19 and experience various physical, cognitive and functional difficulties. Our goal is to help you recover from the continuing effects of COVID-19 through rehabilitation and therapies designed to restore your function and quality of life.
Our Post-COVID Recovery Clinic is available to you even if your symptoms were mild to moderate or you were never hospitalized. We have learned that many COVID-19 patients who fought the illness at home may be unaware that lingering disabilities can be improved through rehabilitation. We offer telemedicine and in-person visits at the Medical Center Pavilion Sub Level.

What to Expect
If you never received a positive COVID-19 test, but suspect you were sick with the disease, please see your doctor to confirm that you had COVID-19 before contacting the Post-COVID Recovery Clinic.
To be seen in-person at the clinic, 28 days must have passed since your most recent positive COVID-19 test. There is no restriction for a telemedicine visit.
Your first visit to the Post-COVID Recovery Clinic will be a comprehensive examination to identify any complications resulting from COVID-19. After this appointment, we will prepare a care plan based on your individual symptoms and needs. We will then refer you to other specialized services to help on your journey to recovery.
