'Run for Lungs, Run from Vapes' 5K brings awareness to the dangers of vaping
More than 200 students and their supporters gathered to raise awareness about the dangers of teen vaping. Dr. Holly Keyt, medical director of the lung transplant program at University Health Transplant Institute, talked to the teens about the harmful chemicals in vaping fluids. She said using e-cigarettes can severely damage lungs and has led to some young people undergoing lung transplants.
