One-of-a-Kind Assessment By Expert Tumor Board

The Pancreas Tumor Center is a partnership between University Health and Mays Cancer Center, home to the UT Health MD Anderson Cancer Center.

The Center gives you a rare opportunity to have your medical condition evaluated by a group of leading doctors and specialists in the field of pancreatic medicine. On your evaluation day, blood may be drawn and other diagnostic tests performed to give our medical team complete and up-to-date medical information regarding your condition.

Our One-Day Evaluation Gets You Treatment Faster

At the Pancreas Tumor Center, you are evaluated by experts and specialists involved in the diagnosis and treatment of pancreatic cancer during a single day evaluation. Traditionally, it may take weeks or even months to see the many specialists needed to diagnose and treat pancreatic cancer. Our timesaving, multidisciplinary approach allows your treatments to start earlier.

You return home at the end of the day with a complete and detailed written treatment plan from our experts and the peace of mind that those experts have thoroughly reviewed your case. This report details your treatment recommendations including scheduled procedures, additional testing and expected follow-up appointments. Your care plan is also sent to your other medical providers to ensure that everyone providing care for you is aware of the details of your overall treatment plan.

At the Pancreas Tumor Center, we strive to provide the highest standard of care and prompt delivery of innovative treatment options. The members of your medical team have dedicated their lives to finding better ways to diagnose and treat pancreatic cancer.

Additionally, the leaders of our Pancreas Tumor Board continually participate in ongoing research for new treatment options. We offer clinical trials for qualifying candidates.
