Women's & Children's Hospital Media Preview Tour
Media members will get a tour and the opportunity to interview key leaders about the academic medical center for South Texas uniquely dedicated to caring for women, children and infants, from before birth and beyond.
Come see the delivery suites that allow families privacy as they celebrate their new babies. A Mother’s Place is dedicated to helping mother’s provide the best start for their infants through breastfeeding and customized nutrition. With our Level IV NICU and Level IV maternity center, we provide the most advanced treatment for high-risk mothers and babies. Our children’s rehabilitation area, a 24/7 pediatric emergency department and our women’s gynecological services are all state of the art. Our SaludArte program boasts more than 1,000 art displays designed to help with the healing process. Our SkyCare helicopter and its crew will be available for tours and interviews at 1 p.m.

Where: University Health campus at 4502 Medical Drive. Parking will be available in the new North Garage next to the main hospital entrance. Enter on Medical Drive and take your first right – the new parking garage will be on your right. Media parking reserved on first level next to the bridge into new hospital lobby.
