Elementary students send packages aimed at giving comfort to kids with cancer at University Hospital

Watts Elementary students learn about cancer treatment and collect “Chemo Care” packages to share with children treated at South Texas Pediatric Blood & Cancer Center

WHO:
Third- and fourth-grade students from student leadership groups at Watts Elementary in Cibolo bring packages they have compiled for pediatric patients at University Hospital

WHAT:
The Watts Elementary students will give their Chemo Care packages to oncology patients, including a pillowcase, socks, hat or scarf, snacks, ginger teas, stuff animal, toy, and more.
