Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Coordinates technical clinical and non-clinical functions essential to the operations of a direct patient care area. Provides for Operations Management support of assigned patient care areas on a twenty-four hour, seven-day per week basis.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Management or a related field is preferred.
  • May substitute one year of management experience for each year of education required.
  • Three years of business/medical related experience working in a responsible management position is required.
  • Experience with payroll, spreadsheet and database preferred.
  • Experience in a direct patient care hospital environment is preferred.

Position Summary:

Supports the marketing team with planning and execution of projects, initiatives, special events, and communications, to support University Health’s strategic goals and service line marketing needs. Responsible for managing the overall coordination of projects through the Adobe Workfront Project Management platform, and overseeing procurement of branded promotional incentive items and goods and services for marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Works in collaboration with all members of the marketing team to help develop and execute marketing projects, initiatives, communications and events.
  • Manages the department’s project management platform, ensuring projects are entered into the system, with appropriate timelines and task assignments.
  • Works with all team members to help ensure projects stay on schedule and document progress in the platform. Leads weekly status meeting and provides monthly report on open projects.
  • Works with vendors to solicit estimates and bids for promotional incentive items to support University Health and service line needs.
  • Works closely with department team members to draft memos requesting approval to purchase goods and services in alignment with University Health’s Procurement Policy.
  • Reconciles invoices to ensure accuracy prior to submitting for payment.
  • Helps coordinate meetings and interfaces with service line managers to support the marketing team to provide follow-up on marketing strategies, initiatives, and tactics.
  • Performs other related duties as may be requested or assigned.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, marketing, or related field is required.
  • Three years of progressive project management and/or marketing experience is required.
  • Adobe Workfront or similar project management platform experience preferred.
  • Health care experience is preferred.

Position Summary:

Observes, interprets and reports cardiac rhythms for patients placed on telemetry monitoring. Ensures the quality, efficiency and prompt reporting of technical observations.

Education/Experience:

  • A high school diploma, its equivalent, or higher degree is required.
  • Completion of a formal basic EKG course or one year Monitor Technician experience is required.

Position Summary/Responsibilities:

Surgical Techs perform a variety of duties in the Operating Room to assist the surgical team. They provide competent assistance in caring for the safety and welfare of the patient in the operating room and for the efficient and prompt performance of assignments. The surgical Techs possess expertise in the theory and application of sterile aseptic technique and combines the knowledge of human anatomy, surgical procedures, and implementation tools and technologies to facilitate surgeon’s performance of invasive therapeutic and diagnostic procedures.

Education/Experience:

  • High school diploma
  • Completion of an accredited Surgical Technologist Program and a certification as a surgical technologist; or employed as a surgical technologist for one (1) year in a health care facility before September 1, 2009; or, completion of an appropriate training program for surgical technology in the Armed Services of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service.
