About
“I believe every child and family deserves compassionate, evidence-based and equitable care, especially in moments of crisis.”
I’m a pediatric critical care physician at University Health, where I care for children and families facing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.
My journey into medicine began after being in a serious car accident with my family — we became trauma patients right here at University Health. I was captivated by how the emergency responders and hospital staff worked seamlessly to care for us. From that moment forward, I knew I wanted to become a doctor.
Philosophy of Care
My philosophy centers on partnering with families, respecting their values and including them as essential members of the care team. In the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), we care for more than just our patients’ medical conditions — we support the whole family through collaboration, compassion and trust.
Favorite Parts of Medicine
The intellectual challenge and constant growth in pediatric critical care
Caring for children with complex conditions and watching them defy expectations

Clinical Interests
My areas of clinical research include ECMO (extracorporeal membrane oxygenation), point-of-care ultrasound and managing iatrogenic withdrawal.
Hobbies
Outside the hospital, I enjoy baking, gardening and sewing.
