About
I graduated magna cum laude from Texas A&M University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. I earned my MD from UT Health San Antonio in 2017 and stayed there to complete my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2021.
During residency, I received the Creighton L. Edwards MD Award in Compassionate Care in 2019 and the Gold Foundation Humanism and Excellence in Teaching Award from 2018-2020.
I joined the UT Health San Antonio faculty in August 2021. My interests include prevention of surgical site infection, abnormal uterine bleeding, management of menopausal symptoms, quality improvement, medical student education, and diversity, equity and inclusion in medicine.
