About
Education
I attended the University of Texas at San Antonio for my undergraduate degree, and earned my medical degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons in 2018. I completed a general surgery internship at Vanderbilt University in 2019 before deciding to ultimately pursue family medicine. I returned to San Antonio to complete my family medicine residency at the Texas Institute for Graduate Medical Education and Research.
Philosophy of Care
I chose a career in medicine because it is an exhilarating field that is constantly innovating and improving our quality of life. My goal as a primary care physician is to treat patients as a whole and address their physical, mental, and social well-being. I also focus on building a trusting and respectful relationship with my patients to provide the highest level of care that is possible.
Area of Focus
I make it a priority to teach my patients about how their daily habits, such as routine exercise and a healthy diet can positively affect their health.
I enjoy sports medicine, weight loss management, and in-office procedures.
