I’m an interventional cardiologist with University Health, specializing in cardiology and women’s heart health. Growing up in El Paso, Texas, I witnessed the challenges my family faced in accessing standard medical care. Often times, I was the translator for my parents during doctor visits.
These moments gave me an early understanding of the barriers many families face — and it fueled my determination to become the first physician in my family.
Today, I take great pride in serving our diverse patient population with empathy, education and personalized care.

Hobbies
I love spending time with my husband and our four kids. I stay active by running and enjoy coaching my children’s volleyball and basketball teams. Supporting their passions and sharing in those moments brings me so much joy. I also enjoy mentoring young individuals and, inspired by my own journey, established an alumni scholarship fund to help underprivileged students from my high school in El Paso pursue their educational goals.
