About
“I believe medicine is not only about treating illness but also listening, educating and caring for patients with compassion and respect.”
I am an adult-gerontology acute care nurse practitioner specializing in cardiology, with a background in emergency medicine and neurocritical care, including stroke management.
My passion for health care began early, growing up in a family of nurses who demonstrated the undeniable impact of compassionate care. Their influence, combined with my education in community and public health, shaped my understanding that health extends beyond the hospital and into the communities we serve.
My clinical experience in the Neuro ICU further strengthened my commitment to medicine, where I cared for critically ill patients and supported families during some of their most vulnerable moments. These experiences inspired me to advance my role as a provider and continue making a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.
Philosophy of Care
My philosophy of care is centered on compassion, respect and patient-centered practice. I believe every patient deserves to be heard, understood and treated with dignity.
I strive to provide evidence-based care while also supporting the whole person — physically, emotionally and socially. Through clear communication and education, I aim to empower patients to better understand their conditions and actively participate in their care.
