I am an assistant professor in the Division of Organ Transplantation in the Department of Surgery at UT Health San Antonio. I received my medical degree and subsequent surgical training at the University of Michigan. Following general surgery residency, I pursued additional fellowship training in transplantation and hepatobiliary surgery.
I specialize in liver and kidney transplantation as well as surgery of the liver, bile duct and pancreas. I have a special interest in pediatric transplantation. I have also contributed to many notable publications in my field.
