Why I Became a Doctor
I became a pediatrician because I’m passionate about working with children and supporting their growth and development. I find tremendous joy in helping kids, adolescents and young adults navigate life’s mental, social and medical challenges.

As a pediatrician, my philosophy of care centers on providing compassionate, comprehensive and personalized care to children and their families. I believe in treating each child as an individual, taking the time to listen, understand their unique needs, and empower families with the knowledge to make informed decisions about their child’s health.
Favorite Part of Practicing Medicine
My favorite thing about being a pediatrician is the opportunity to have a positive impact on a child and their family that will last a lifetime. It also gives me the opportunity to stay up to date on the newest and most innovative trends in pediatric medicine.

I love everything about my profession, but I am particularly interested in exploring the interplay between medical diagnoses and social/mental health.
Hobbies & Personal Interests
I’m originally from Buffalo, NY. I live with my wife in Helotes. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, playing tennis, cooking and rooting for the Bills.
