- I am an Associate Chair of Pediatrics at UT Health San Antonio and serve as a pediatric hospitalist at University Health. I chair the South Texas Asthma Coalition and San Antonio Metro Health SA Kids BREATHE Advisory Council. I have served as the Medical Advisor for the SA Kids BREATHE program since January 2019.
- I am a San Antonio native and returned 10 years ago to continue my journey as a pediatric hospitalist. Through my 15 years of practice, my passion developed to help children with asthma.
- Through my leadership in quality improvement, advocacy and education, I learned that medicine goes beyond healing the sick in the hospital. We must intervene in the community setting to improve the overall health and wellness of children.
