Veterans Day ceremony to salute military veterans including physicians and staff

BACKGROUND: Veterans Day is observed each November 11 to honor the men and women who served in uniform as members of the U.S. Armed Services. A Veterans Day ceremony at University Hospital will honor military veterans, including those who are physicians and staff members at University Health. Keynote speaker will be Dr. Andrew Muck, an emergency medicine physician who served in the Air Force as a critical care air transport physician during Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom (Afghanistan).
