Summer camp for kids in the hospital
Being in the hospital isn’t fun for kids — especially in the summertime when their friends are out playing and going to summer camps. But they don’t have to miss out on all the fun. They — and their siblings, who often spend long hours in the hospital with their families — can take part in activities at Camp University Kids!
Thursday, July 26, 10:30 a.m. to noon — Science Camp (Witte Museum staff with demonstrations that explore the physical sciences)
Tuesday, August 7, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. — Archeology Camp (San Antonio Zoo staff will help kids dig up fossils)
Wednesday, August 8, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. — Theater Camp (Magik Theatre performance of Goldilocks)
