Summer camp for kids in the hospital

Even kids stuck in the hospital deserve some summer fun.

(SAN ANTONIO, TX) Being in the hospital isn’t fun for kids — especially in the summertime when their friends are out playing and going to summer camps. But they don’t have to miss out on all the fun. They — and their siblings, who often spend long hours in the hospital with their families — can take part in activities at Camp University Kids! Here are some activities taking place throughout the week:

Monday, June 26, 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Carnival Camp (games, prizes, magic show)

Wednesday, June 28, 2 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Theatrical Camp (Say Si role play for kids)

Friday, June 30, 10:30 a.m. to noon, Great Outdoors Camp (building birdhouses)

All activities at University Hospital, 4502 Medical Drive. Please contact Corporate Communications if you are interested in covering any of these activities.
