Think you’ve got a big heart?

Giant walk-through heart, hands-free CPR, health screenings and heart education available tomorrow at University Hospital

BACKGROUND: On Valentine’s Day, University Health will give people a chance to walk through a giant heart. The inflatable display is an educational tool designed to show how the heart works, and the kinds of health problems that can arise. Free blood pressure checks, hands-only CPR instruction and other health screenings and education will be offered. We’ll have cooking demonstrations and heart-healthy recipes to share. There will even be the opportunity to win flowers and chocolate for those who are — ahem — a little late on their Valentine’s shopping.

And those at the event who complete University Health’s Heart Health Profiler, which estimates your heart’s age and risk for heart disease, will be entered for a chance to win the sweetheart package of flowers and chocolate every hour from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
