University Health named a Top U.S. Workplace
University Health has earned recognition as a 2022 Top U.S. Workplace.
San Antonio’s only locally owned health system earned a Top U.S. Workplaces Healthcare Industry award. We were one of 17 institutions honored nationally. Fellow awardees include Children’s Health in Dallas, H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center and Research Institute in Tampa, Florida, and the VA Boston Healthcare System.
University Health also won a national Culture Excellence recognition award for our Purpose and Values.
Earning a spot on these prestigious lists follows last year's recognition of University Health as one of the San Antonio Express-News' Top Workplaces in San Antonio. The recognitions are based solely on our staff's responses to a third-party confidential survey sent to all team members.

This is the 14th year that the San Antonio Express-News teamed up with Energage, an independent research firm, for the Top Workplaces program. For an organization to be named to the national Top Workplaces list, employee survey responses must meet or exceed established benchmarks. Survey results are verified by an independent organization.
