The summer heat is here! This cucumber agua fresca is a great, cool, crisp, refreshing way to get more vegetables in and stay hydrated!
Cucumber Basil Agua Fresca
Prep Time: 15 minutes
Recipe makes about 7 cups
Ingredients
- 2 large cucumbers, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup fresh lime juice
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves (packed)
- 1/4 cup Splenda
- 48 ounces of water
Directions
- Reserve a few cucumber slices for garnish
- Puree remaining cucumber, basil and lime juice in a food processor until very smooth
- Strain puree into large pitcher
- Add water and sugar, then stir
- Chill before serving
