I am a family medicine and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM) physician at University Health.
Education
I earned my medical degree from the University of North Texas Health Science Center Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine. I then completed a combined family medicine and Osteopathic Neuromusculoskeletal Medicine (ONMM) degree at the University of North Texas Health Science Center at Fort Worth and Medical City Fort Worth. I also have a master’s degree in public health with a concentration in community health and a master’s degree in applied anthropology with a concentration in medical anthropology.
I was inspired to be a physician from a very young age, seeing how the health of family members impact the whole family, and also as a result of working in public health research and community health.
Philosophy of Care
I am committed to providing a holistic and evidence-based approach to patient care, incorporating osteopathic principles and practice, and teaching. I value the importance of community in supporting health.
My favorite things about practicing medicine are seeing patients' health improve and seeing how resilient people are. I also enjoy teaching and seeing students learn and develop as practitioners.
