About
Education
I am a board-certified internal medicine physician and endocrinologist at University Health. I attended the Universidad Católica de Santiago de Guayaquil in Ecuador and completed my residency at Jackson Memorial Hospital/University of Miami in Miami in 2020. I completed two fellowships, one in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism at the University of Chicago in 2022, and another in Diabetes Mellitus in 2023.
Philosophy of Care
My philosophy of care is centered on a good doctor-patient relationship. I educate patients about their diagnosis and treatment options, and together we make a decision that is best for them and fulfills their needs.
Clinical Interests and Expertise
I am especially interested in the research and care of patient with diabetes, thyroid, adrenal and pituitary disorders.
