Kids’ Playroom Gets a Magnificent “Campy” Makeover with Terrific Toys, Books & Fun Furniture!
Jaxon’s F.R.O.G Foundation donates $25,000 to help furnish pediatric cancer clinic playroom at University Hospital
BACKGROUND: Kids with cancer deserve a place to take their minds off their illness when they come for treatment. Now, when they arrive at University Hospital’s pediatric oncology outpatient clinic, they’ll have a kid-friendly playroom with an outdoor camp theme that includes new toys, books and really cool furniture, thanks to the Jaxon’s F.R.O.G (Fully Reliant on God) Foundation. The foundation is named after five-year-old Jaxon Davis, who died in 2012 after a two-year battle with brain cancer. Jaxon’s parents will present the University Health System Foundation with a check for $25,000 to furnish the existing playroom in honor of their son.
