“Listening is the first step towards healing. With a deep understanding of each patient’s condition, I use cutting-edge, minimally invasive techniques to deliver precise, life-changing cardiovascular care.”
I’m an interventional cardiologist with University Health. I chose this field to help patients in their most critical moments. I believe strong outcomes come from a thorough process, listening carefully, analyzing critically and intervening with precision. The opportunity to care for someone during their most vulnerable moments is both a privilege and a responsibility I take to heart.
Philosophy of Care
My philosophy of care is centered on truly understanding my patients’ health. I believe medicine should go beyond lab results and diagnostic tests but rather to the root cause. My focus is on providing the right procedure at the right time and using proven methods and advanced tools. Every decision I make is guided by what’s best for the patient, both in the moment and for the long run.
Favorite Parts of Medicine
  • Treating patients from diagnosis to recovery and seeing them return to their lives healthier and stronger, this cycle is the most rewarding part of what I do
  • Collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team to deliver precise and coordinated care for my patients
  • Using advanced, minimally invasive heart procedures to improve quality of life
  • Engaging in teaching and research to stay at the forefront of new techniques and deliver better care through continuous learning
Clinical Interests:
I specialize in advanced cardiovascular care, including complex coronary interventions, peripheral and venous disease, women’s heart health including microvascular disease and cardiovascular imaging with expertise in echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.
Awards & Recognition:
  • Best Interventional Cath Lab Fellow (2024)
  • Chief Medical Resident (2020–2021)
  • Gold Medal for Academic Excellence in Medical School (2018)
Hobbies
Outside of work, I enjoy unwinding with my flute, staying engaged with global affairs, cooking, playing tennis, and spending quality time with my husband, son and family.
