About
I grew up in Michigan, where I graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology and Chemistry from Hope College in 2010. I then spent a year with the Lutheran Volunteer Corps, where I worked at Healthcare for the Homeless in Baltimore, Maryland.
I earned my medical degree from the University of Michigan in 2016, where I was elected a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. I completed my residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Colorado in 2020, where I won multiple residency teaching awards. I then completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospitalist fellowship at the University of Colorado in 2021.
I joined the faculty at UT Health San Antonio in August 2021. My clinical interests include resident education, early pregnancy complications, gynecologic surgery and quality improvement processes on labor and delivery.
